survivorship

Woo! We’re in it. Surviving. Apologies for no update - there really haven’t been any treatment updates. Just trucking along. Still on the Xeloda, chemo pills and the Herceptin+Perjeta infusions every three weeks.

I had a chest MRI in September. It was nerve wracking and the scanxiety was a overwhelming. But, it was all clear! I’ll have chest MRIs annually. Just checking for any residual disease. Still no evidence of disease!

Unrelated, well kind of related, to treatments - I had a root canal. That was not fun at all.

I had my annual eye exam and got new glasses. I had to switch to daily contact lenses because the chemo has my eyes so dry and uncomfortable.

Other than the usual, “normal” health things - I’m doing pretty great!

I got a vacay to Maine with Joe and it was phenomenal!! We adventured, ate, and explored our way up the coast.

I also just got back from Project Koru’s Costa Rica camp. It was phenomenal. It deserves it’s own post.

So, here we are. Making it through!
